The Associated Students of Portland State University (ASPSU) advocate for and represents the interests of the students of Portland State University before internal and external bodies, including providing for student representation and participation on University committees.

The ASPSU provide a formal means of communication and interaction among students, student organizations, faculty and the University administration, as well as providing a process for students to participate fully in the allocation of student incidental fees as provided in Oregon statues and the Administrative Rules of the State Board of Higher Education.

The ASPSU consists of 47 staff members: 10 Executive Officers, 25 Senators, 5 Judicial Board Members, and 7 Committee Members. The majority of our staff members are elected students.
